Section 223 - Credit by Exam Procedures

[ Credit by Exam Policy ]

  1. The student meets with her/his academic advisor to determine whether or not the course is available for credit by examination. Not all courses are eligible; it is determined by the program or discipline instructor.
  2. If the course is available for credit by exam, the student must fill out the Credit by Examination form available at Student Affairs office and pay the appropriate fee.
  3. The student must make an appointment with the program or discipline instructor to take the exam.
  4. The instructor will inform the student and the Student Affairs office of the results of the exam.
  5. The Student Affairs office will record the results and make appropriate entries in the student's file.

At this time, students will follow the "Credit By Exam" procedures for any experiential learning activities. A Campus Committee will review credit requests for experiential learning.
