Section 223 - Credit by Exam Procedures
[ Credit by Exam Policy ]
- The student meets with her/his academic advisor to determine whether
or not the course is available for credit by examination. Not all
courses are eligible; it is determined by the program or discipline
instructor.
- If the course is available for credit by exam, the student must
fill out the Credit by Examination form available at Student Affairs
office and pay the appropriate fee.
- The student must make an appointment with the program or discipline
instructor to take the exam.
- The instructor will inform the student and the Student Affairs office
of the results of the exam.
- The Student Affairs office will record the results and make appropriate
entries in the student's file.
At this time, students will follow the "Credit By Exam" procedures for any experiential learning activities. A Campus Committee will review credit requests for experiential learning.
