We’re glad that you have chosen to further your education at Minnesota State College – Southeast Technical. The following steps will help you through the application and enrollment processes. We also would like to provide you with a New Online Student Packet. This packet contains important information that you should read now; however, you’ll also want to print and keep it for future access. If you have questions at any time, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we can help you through the process.
Step 1 – Application
There are forms and information the college needs from you to get you placed into our system. Please see our admissions page for the proper documents and information that needs to be completed and submitted.
Step 2 – Orientation and Tutorials
Distance learning, specifically online learning, is often new to students. Southeast Technical College wants you to become familiar with the process to help you become a successful online learner. Please take some time to go through the orientation to become familiar with the processes and procedures of online learning at Southeast Technical College.
Step 3 – Placement Assessment
In order to register, you must complete a placement assessment. The result of this assessment will allow us to place you into the proper General Education course, which will help you to be more successful. To schedule time to take your placement assessment, please view the information on the Placement Assessment page.
Step 4 – Register for Courses
Once we have received all of your information and you have completed the placement assessment and financial aid forms, you will be ready to register. You will receive more information from our Registrar’s office prior to the registration window opening.
