Southeast Technical requires a student to complete a minimum of 30 AAS level general education semester credits which must include six (6) transfer goal areas. All students must complete at least one (1) Communications/English course and one (1) Mathematics courses as well as any other general education courses listed on the specific program plan.
Students enrolled in an AAS program are required to complete a minimum of 21 AAS level general education semester credits that include at least three (3) different transfer goal areas.
A minimum score of 32 in the Written section of the Basic Skills Test or completion of the prerequisite courses is required for a student to register for an AAS level Communications course. A minimum score of 26 in the Elementary Algebra section of the Basic Skills Test or completion of the prerequisite courses is required for a student to register for the Intermediate Algebra course.
