Southeast Technical Alumni Committee began the tradition of conferring an annual Outstanding Alumnus award in 2005. Debbie Greenwood, a graduate of the Winona campus, and Laura Blair, a graduate of the Red Wing campus, were honored in 2007.
How do I nominate an outstanding alumnus?
We honor one alumnus from the Winona campus and one from the Red Wing campus each year by accepting nominations.
This is a wonderful opportunity to recognize the excellence of our graduates and show our appreciation for their personal and professional contributions.
The Outstanding Alumnus Award recipient is honored each year at the spring graduation ceremony with a plaque and also invited to attend the college's annual scholarship banquet in October.
If you define a friend, former student, or business acquaintance as "outstanding" for these or other reasons, please nominate the individual for this award.
