Outstanding Alumnus Award

Each year, Southeast Technical honors one alumnus from the Winona campus and one from the Red Wing campus. This is a wonderful opportunity to recognize the excellence of Southeast Technical graduates and show our appreciation for their personal and professional contributions.

Nominations for the 2012 award will be accepted until April 1, 2012.

The Outstanding Alumnus Award recipients will be honored at the spring graduation ceremony with a plaque, and also invited to attend the college's annual scholarship banquet. View past Outstanding Alumnus Award recipients.

Considered Criteria for Outstanding Alumnus

1. Earned a diploma or degree from Minnesota State College - Southeast Technical more than 5 years ago;
2. Professional and/or personal achievement (e.g., career achievements, obstacles overcome, etc.);
3. Service to others (e.g., community service, service clubs, church, volunteerism, etc.);
4. Support to Minnesota State College - Southeast Technical (e.g., financial, board representative, advocacy, volunteerism, support/employment of grads, etc.);
5. Able to attend the graduation ceremony.

If you define a friend, former student, or business acquaintance as "outstanding" for these or other reasons, please nominate the individual for this award by submitting your nomination to the Alumni Association by April 1, 2012.
