ACCUPLACER Placement Testing
The ACCUPLACER tests your knowledge in math and reading. All Minnesota State Colleges administer the ACCUPLACER tests as part of the enrollment and placement process. (Not all enrolling students are required to take the ACCUPLACER - check to see if you are exempt.)
Now you can schedule your own appointment ACCUPLACER test online! Use our online scheduling system to see the full schedule of available appointments for each campus and set up your appointment.

For students needing to take the ACCUPLACER out of the state or out of the country, it is necessary to complete and submit the following Student Proctor Agreement Form.
Preparing For the ACCUPLACER
Understanding Your Placement Score
After your test the test proctor will be available to help answer your questions and explain your placement scores. Our detailed ACCUPLACER Placement Test Score Chart is also available for review and reference.
Taking the ACCUPLACER Test
- Show up 15 minutes early
- Bring a valid photo ID (driver's license, ID card, resident card, passport)
- Check in at the front desk
