Open immediately, a position repairing instruments at
Acoustic Corner. A small family owned music shop in Black Mountain, North
Carolina. Applicants should be ready to perform repairs on a variety of
fretted instruments. Looking for a graduate of at least the first year of
the guitar program. Applicants should also be willing to learn routine
repairs on violin family instruments.
The job allows a flexible schedule from 30-35 hours per
week, and pay starts at $13/hr, with raises expected after training.
My name is Matthew Hannafin, and I am a class of 2011 Red
Wing student, and will be overlapping with the applicant to familiarize them
with shop procedures and day to day operations. There are brief moments
where the job requires one to help in the show floor, which is something the
team at Acoustic Corner will help to teach as well.
The shop website is www.acoustic-corner.com,
and if interested please contact me at email@example.com,
or call at (828) 275-6714.
There are many instruments that walk through the door at
this shop for repairs. In the three years I've been here, I've reset
necks on vintage Martins, performed many refrets, and all around enjoyed having
different things to work on each day.
