On-Campus Tutoring
The Learning Resource Center
(LRC) has one-on-one tutoring available for several basic skills areas such as math,
English/reading, and science. You can make an appointment using the Tutor Scheduling System or stop in to see if there is a
"walk-in" tutor available.

PALs Tutoring
PALs (Peer Assistant Learners) are student tutors who have demonstrated an understanding of their course content. They attend course classes with students, and lead group learning sessions to engage students in discussions and activities that promote a deeper understanding of course concepts.
Online Tutoring
Tutor.com is an online tutoring service that Minnesota State College Southeast makes available to all students. Tutor.com provides tutoring in mathematics (basic math through Calculus, including Bilingual Math), Biology, Intro Human A & P, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Accounting, Intro to Finance, Statistics, Spanish, and Writing. Tutoring is available 24/7.
With Tutor.com you can:
- Connect with an e-structor and interact with a live tutor.
- Submit your writing for any class to their Online Writing Lab.
- Submit a question and receive a reply from a tutor.
To access Tutor.com, log in to D2L using your StarID and password; click on a course you are taking, and look in the right hand column for the link to Tutor.com.
