The electronic mail system has been designated as an official means of communication for Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical. Employees are assigned an e-mail account that can be monitored on a regular basis.
Bulletin boards are located in the staff lounge at the Red Wing campus, and in the same areas as the staff mailboxes at Winona and the Airport campuses. They provide an official area to post employment and educational opportunities, union materials, OSHA and college safety information, personnel information and staff development activities.
Each campus has a designated area where mailboxes are available to employees for the receiving of U.S. Postal Mail as well as any internal documents. With a few exceptions, employees are assigned a mailbox on the campus they are based. Mailboxes can be found in the Staff Workrooms, room 223 on the Airport Campus, room 2-139 on the Red Wing Campus, and room 125 on the Winona Campus.
The college newsletter, “Newsbytes”, is an electronic publication for faculty, staff and students of Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical. This publication provides messages from the college president, new information, on-going initiatives, dates to remember, recognition of constituents and department activities. Any contributions to the newsletter can be sent to the Marketing Department.
Various committees and workgroups with membership from across the college exist to provide feedback that is incorporated into programming, services, operations and policy and procedures.
