Position Audits

Employees are hired under a position description that identifies specific tasks and responsibilities. This position description can change over time. It is recommended that the employee documents these changes periodically or documents through the performance evaluation process. When substantial changes have occurred, a position audit can be requested. An employee and the supervisor work together to submit an updated position description to the Director of Human Resources for review. During this review when it is determined that the classification has changed, additional materials are added to the request with a recommendation to the Office of the Chancellor for their review and final classification.
