Activities related to technical college teaching and learning including butnot limited to:
Teach General Education basic computer software application skills such as word processing, spreadsheets, electronic presentations, and data bases and computer literacy skills
• Provide instruction on the Winona campus
• Teach evening classes as required
• Design and modify General Educaiton computer software application and computer literacy curriculum to meet student and college needs
• Participate in college committees and activities
• Student recruitment, retention and advising prospective and enrolled students
• Assess student and program performances
• Maintain professional skills and credentials
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Bachelors degree and 20 semester credits (30 quarter credits) in Computer Science or Bachelors degree in Business including 10 semester credits (15 quarter credits) in office skills and 10 semester credits (15 quarter credits) in computer applications and one year relevant work experience
• Experience in working with a diverse student population
• Willingness to teach online and use technology to enhance the classroom experience
• Ability to operate a computer in a Windows environment
• Effective communication skills
• Effective presentation, organization and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel between campuses as necessary for the position
• Experience in teaching computer software applications and/or computer literacy
Masters degree in Business Education or equivalent with 10 semester credits (15 quarter credits) in Computer Applications
