Guitar Repair and Construction Program Instructors

Lisbeth Nelson Butler has been teaching in the Instrument Repair Program at Southeast Tech since January of 1990. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in violin performance, graduated from the Violin Making School of America in Salt Lake City, and received a Master’s in Educational Leadership. Before coming to Minnesota, she ran her own violin shop in Des Moines and played in the Des Moines Symphony.

Lisbeth is the main instructor in the Violin Repair Program, and co-teaches Introduction to Tools and Basic Materials with David Vincent and Brian Boedigheimer.
