Guitar Repair and Construction Program Coursework

The nine-month program begins in late August with four-week classes in tool preparation, safety, woods and materials. The students then learn set up and repair of acoustic and electric instruments, fretwork and acoustic guitar neck resets. In the spring semester, students put together all of their skills as they begin the process of building a fine handmade acoustic guitar from scratch.
