Trade_and_TechOver 100 Juniors and Seniors from  Lake City, Tower View and Zumbrota-Mazeppa  were on the Red Wing campus Thursday, February 18 to learn by “doing” in Southeast Tech’s own version of  the  “World of Reality.” Students attending Trade & Tech Day swung hammers, cut and hung drywall, and learned about construction at the home building site. They also lit up torches and  soldered small sheet metal projects in the HVAC (Heating Ventilating and Cooling) lab. Students interested in healthcare worked with the college’s "Sim" (simulated) patients in the on-site clinical area.  The non-lab oriented programs also offered students experience working with computer spreadsheets and exposure to online learning in D2L (Desire to Learn).
