June 7, 2009

Winona, Minn – (Southeast Technical) The Cosmetology program at Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical held a full day session for students, hosting demonstration and lecture with stylist and educator DJ Moran. Moran is an International Artistic Designer, with ProDesign Grund. Moran demonstrated techniques in hair cut, color and composition, explaining the artistry and chemistry that is at the foundation of the hair care industry.  Moran travels across North America and internationally as an educator for ProDesign  a Ventura, California based company. He is a five time finalist for hairdresser of the year by Salon Magazine, and winner of the professional Women’s Hair Cutting Championship. He has been nominated Educator of the year in his field and has performed on reality make-over television in Canada.

Local stylists were also invited to attend the “clinic,” which offered new techniques in styling and product application. Moran was joined by fellow educator Geoff Cambell, also representing ProDesign.
