Kerri Schmidt Receives MAFAA New Professional Award

Kerri SKerri Schmidt, a Financial Aid Assistant for Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical, was recognized May 6, at the Minnesota Association of Financial Aid Administrators (MAFAA) Conference,  held in Brainerd, Minnesota, where she received the Minnesota Outstanding New Professional Award during Thursday night’s banquet.  This award is presented to a new professional who has made significant contributions to their institution, the financial aid profession, and MAFAA. Kerri also received the MAFAA Executive Council Award for her work on the Leadership Committee this past year.  The Minnesota Association of Financial Aid Administrators (MAFAA) is an association of professionals committed to the principle that no one should be denied access to higher education for financial reasons.
