Minnesota State College Southeast Security is charged with the responsibility of protecting life and property in a manner that will provide the safest possible learning environment for those we serve. Daily Crime Log
Minnesota State College Southeast maintains a daily crime log for incidents taking place on campus. Anyone wishing to obtain a copy of any portion need only contact the Director of Security (see contact information above).
Campus Security Act
Title II of Public Law 101-542: "The Student Right-To-Know and Campus Security Act" was enacted by Congress and signed into law by President George Bush on November 8, 1990. The name of the bill has been changed to "Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act", or "Clery Bill" in memory of Jeanne Clery. This law amended section 485 of the Higher Education Act of 1965 by adding campus crime statistics and security disclosure provisions for colleges and universities. Anyone is entitled to a copy of Minnesota State College Southeast's security disclosure document upon request.
