
The programs offered at Southeast Technical College are geared towards serving the employment needs of the region. Each program is designed and reviewed with the help of a program advisory board to ensure students graduate with the skills necessary to perform successfully in their field. There is a career fair held in Winona every fall in collaboration with Winona State University and St. Mary's University. During the first day of the Career Fair, students will visit with you on an informal basis to learn about career opportunities in your organization. You can give them tips regarding the skills and qualities employers expect from entry-level employees, and provide specific information about your organization: mission, structure, products and services. Graduate/Professional schools can discuss programs and entrance requirements.
You have the option to participate in the second day of the Career Fair. It is devoted entirely to individual interviews with qualified student candidates for both full-time employment and/or internship positions.
Employers and educational institutions from throughout the Midwest are being invited to attend. We are seeking representation from a wide range of companies, agencies, non-profit organizations, and graduate/professional schools. Contact www.winona,edu/career for more information.
