My name is Jeanette Matuska, tutor coordinator in the LRC and I tutor students in Anatomy & Physiology I. I received my bachelor of arts degree from Southwest State University and my A.A.S. in medical technology from Fergus Falls Community College. Red Wing, Minnesota, has been my home for ten years. I love to do crossword puzzles! I am most proud of the following quote from one of my students: "I couldn't have passed A&P I without the tutor's help."
My name is Deb Jeranek, and I am a tutor for practical nursing. I received a bachelor of science in family and consumer education from UW-Madison in 1994, a master of science in vocational, technical, and adult education from UW-Stout in 2000, and a practical nursing diploma from the Red Wing Campus of Southeast Technical in December 2005. I have been married for ten years to Torry, an HVAC/R instructor at the Red Wing Campus of Southeast Technical. We have three children: Ashley (8), Amy (7), and Megan (5).
I also scrapbook, stamp cards, and LOVE to spend time with my family.
In addition to my tutoring, I work at St. Brigid's at Hi-Park Assisted Living and Apartments as a Home Health Aid. I will take my LPN license exam shortly and plan to continue in the RN program.
My name is Dawn Traynor, and I grew up on a dairy farm outside of Maiden Rock, Wisconsin; and I graduated high school with honors. In December 2004, I received my Therapeutic Massage Therapy diploma. In May 2005, I completed the Supervisory Management, A.A.S. I currently work as professional tutor for the massage therapy program and as a lab assistant. I also am a professional tutor for all levels of math. In May 2005, I became nationally certified in massage therapy and received my Wisconsin license in October 2005.
