Activate your StarID
(and set/reset your password)

The services listed below will only use StarID after April 2014!

To login to Southeast Technical and MnSCU accounts and services, you will need a StarID.
Having this ID will allow you to use the same login and password to get into these resources:

  • Student email
  • eServices (Southeast Technical Student Login)
  • Classroom and lab computers
  • D2L Brightspace

StarID is used throughout the MnSCU system. Your StarID and password remains the same, even across (most) MnSCU institutions.

Remember, most access issues can be solved by changing your StarID password. If you continue to have problems, please contact the Helpdesk (507.453.2408)

If you have been accepted to Southeast Technical, you already have a StarID. Activating your StarID is easy! Simply visit the the StarID Self Service page and activate your StarID and set your password.
