Advisory Committees
Part of what makes career and technical education at Minnesota State College Southeast relevant and responsive are the college’s Advisory Committees. Each academic program at Minnesota State College Southeast is guided by an Advisory Committee comprised of:
- Faculty
- Business professionals who employ graduates in the particular field
- Recent graduates of the program
- A current student in the program
- A college dean or coordinator
The goal of an Advisory Committee is to help ensure that all aspects of Southeast's academic programs reflect the needs and current conditions of the workplace and that Southeast graduates are prepared to meet the expectations of entry-level positions in their field. In short, Advisory Committees aim to ensure that Southeast graduates will be successful in the workforce on day one.
If you are serving on an Advisory Committee, please download the Advisory Committee Handbook (PDF).
