2023-2024 Anniversary: Southeast celebrated 50 years in Red Wing, 75 years in Winona
In 2023-2024, Minnesota State College Southeast celebrated not one but two major anniversaries. In 1973, the Red Wing Campus building at 308
Pioneer Road opened its doors to the public, making 2023 our 50th Anniversary in Red Wing. In 1949, our Winona Campus was founded as the Winona Area Vocational-Technical School. 2024 marked 75 years of service to the Winona community and beyond.
Special events included campus celebrations on September 29, 2023 in Red Wing and April 25, 2024 in Winona. Time capsules were buried on both campuses near the front entry flagpoles with the hope that they will be unearthed in 2049 when the college celebrates its 100th anniversary.
