Security & Safety on Campus
MSC Southeast is a drug and alcohol-free campus. We have a very safe campus, and we wish to keep it that way. We have a very strict (NO tolerance) sexual harassment policy. If you have concerns, please make sure you communicate with student affairs personnel so we can address the issue.
Sexual Violence Prevention Training
You will be notified within one week of registering for classes that you have been assigned to complete the required Sexual Violence Prevention Training on D2L. Complete the training as soon as possible. Failure to complete will affect your ability to register for future semesters. This training is mandated under Minnesota State law.
Be sure to check your college email every day. It is the main channel for official college communications with students. You can forward your college email to your personal account if you like.
Be sure that you are signed up for college text messaging communications from Student Affairs. MSC Southeast will send you text messages for important information, such as reminders to register for classes or to send you notifications on your wait listed courses. You can opt in using eServices - look in the left hand column under "Account Management."
You are automatically signed up for Star Alert email and text messages, which are used in campus closure and emergency situations.
Now that you've completed Orientation, you will need to complete the Admitted Student Enrollment Form and register for classes. Congratulations on taking this step in your college education. Welcome to Minnesota State College Southeast - we are so glad you're here!
