Nursing Assistant Training
(3-Credit College Credit Course, 80 hours)
In our nursing assistant training program, you will develop the skills, attitudes, and knowledge that are essential to providing quality care in skilled nursing facilities. To work as a nursing assistant, you must complete the nursing assistant training course and then pass a certification test to be placed on the Minnesota Nurse Aide Registry.
Nursing assistant training is a 3-credit college class, with approximately 51-53 hours of online class time and 22-24 hours of in-person supervised practical training (a minimum of 75 hours of class time is required to pass).
The cost for the course is approximately $875, which covers tuition, college fees, and the cost of taking the Minnesota nursing assistant registry test.

Register for Nursing Assistant Testing
If you've completed the nursing assistant training course, you will need to take a test to be placed on the state registry. The test includes both knowledge and skills components.
