All actions concerned with MSC Southeast data collection and storage are administered in compliance with the provisions of both state and federal law.
Public, non-confidential, and summary data will be made available upon request.
Students may request confidential status. If you are considered a confidential student, we will not release information about your participation in the college to any member of the public under any circumstances.
Students who do not wish their information to be released should complete the Authorization to Withhold Directory Information Form, which is available in the Student Services Office or from the Student Forms page.
Students who request suppression of their Directory Information will also be deemed to have requested suppression of their Limited Directory Information. Their information will not be shared with LeadMN.
Note: Use of your student email account may compromise student confidentiality. You can contact the Information Technology Helpdesk (email@example.com) to request that your name be removed from the email system.

As required or permitted by law, the college may release personally identifiable information in an education record without consent. For example, records may be shared in the event of an emergency, a law enforcement situation, or among college school officials who a legitimate educational interest in the records.
