We are a full service music store specializing in school music, both band and orchestra. We offer rentals, retail, repair, school services, and lessons.

Hourly pay for this position is $18-25 depending on experience.

With a history spanning over seven decades, Thern has provided amazing solutions to some very BIG projects all over the world.   Do you want to be a part of something bigger?  Thern, Inc is looking for a 2nd shift CNC Machinist to join our team. 

Overview:  Working full time you will setup and operates conventional, special purpose, CNC machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts.  The successful candidate must understand machine operation and capabilities of each of those machines. 

Responsibilities:  The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

·         Performing accurate inspections on product.

·         Studies blueprints, drawings or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.

·         Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media

·         Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls as required.

·         Verifies conformance of finished work-piece using measuring and inspection tools.

·         Sets up and operates machine to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.

·         Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency

·         Demonstrate strong organizational, planning and prioritization ability

·         Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

·         Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision-making skills

·         Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast pace environment.

·         Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.

·         Ability to pass the required drug screen

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Prior machining experience

·         Possess a 2-year tool and die or machining degree

Aitkin County is accepting applications for a FT Deputy Sheriff to perform general duty law
enforcement work to protect life and property throughout Aitkin County. Patrol the county to
enforce laws and secure compliance with traffic regulations, escort prisoners, undertake routine
investigations, serve legal instruments and execute court orders. Work involves an element of
personal danger and employees must act without direct supervision and exercise independent
judgment meeting emergency situations. Assignments and orders are received from superior
officers who review work methods and results through reports, inspections and discussions.
Requirements: Licensed or eligible to be licensed by the Minnesota P.O.S.T. Board, which
includes two years post-secondary education or more; and continues to receive education credits
to be licensed.
Valid Minnesota driver’s license required. Employment reference checks, a criminal background
check, pre-employment physical and psychological evaluation will be performed as part of the
pre-employment process.
Must be First Aid, CPR/AED certified or obtain within 30 days of hire.
Must be able to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned.

Overview

The retail Sales and Service Specialist (SSS) is a unique hybrid role for stores and is intended as a key pipeline for future career-growth within BSRO. This role is primarily responsible for serving the Boss (customer) through assessing the Bosses’ needs, recommending appropriate products and/or services, performing entry-level vehicle services, and ensuring Boss satisfaction through thorough and timely completion of services. Responsibilities

 

Hybrid Role

·         Customer service, sales, customer issue resolution- 75%

·         Basic vehicle service tasks, Oil, tires, fluids- 25%

·         Store operations, opening/closing, inventory, displays- as needed basis

 

Growth and career development role

·         May assist Manager or act as Manager-On-Duty in certain circumstances or to support development

·         Will learn all aspects of store operations and flex between front/back shop tasks

 

Requirements

 

Minimum Required:

·            High School Diploma or equivalent

·            Valid automobile driver’s license

·            Customer service and career growth mindset

·            Ability to complete required store education courses and modules required for this position

·            Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks

·            Ability to learn and operate store systems

 

Preferred:

·         2-year degree or non-traditional education through training program completion, certification, or other exhibiting the growth mindset that is needed in this candidate

·         Previous consumer retail sales experience

·         Previous automotive experience a plus

·         Previous management/supervisory experience a plus
