We are seeking a clinic receptionist to interact with patients and provide administrative support, 5-8 hours/week in Red Wing. Must be available Saturday mornings from 8am-12pm. There is optional availability for several hours per day Monday through Friday. Tasks include rooming patients, managing patient flow, scheduling patients, managing clinic supplies, and cleaning. No clinical experience is necessary, training is provided. It is necessary that the clinic assistant has a positive attitude and is willing to treat our patients like they are family.

Description

 

  1. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation
  2. Remove defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools
  3. Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using appropriate tools
  4. Weld using various techniques and perform shop repairs utilizing robotic welder, milling machine, and lathe
  5. Work from blueprints and schematics and perform basic shop math
  6. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  7. This position primarily works 7 am – 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Mechanics respond to callouts outside of regularly scheduled hours as needed.
  8. This position requires working roughly one weekend per month and will compensate accordingly.  Employee receives time off during the week instead of the weekend.
  9. Utilize Mp2 maintenance software to enter work requests and locate parts in inventory

Qualifications

Characteristics of Class
Under general supervision, acts as lead worker to a number of other financial workers involved in one or more of the financial assistance programs; and performs related work as assigned. 

 

Supervisory Controls
There is considerable opportunity for the exercise of judgment and decision within the assigned functions.  Work is reviewed only periodically to assure conformance and to measure results. Work Schedule and Pay:

General Summary

Qualifications Required:

General Summary

PURPOSE AND PRIMARY FOCUS OF POSITION:

 

The Nutrition Educator is an integral member of the UW-Madison Division of Extension and the Pierce, Polk and St. Croix Counties FoodWIse program team and works alongside the people of Wisconsin to improve lives and communities. Extension serves the people and communities of Wisconsin by addressing local, statewide and national issues, improving lives through research-based education, fostering partnerships and action, and facilitating positive impacts.

 

Our nutrition educators are peer educators who work closely with the FoodWIse Nutrition Program Coordinator to support and empower people to adopt healthy food and physical activity habits by delivering education where people live and work. Education topics include:

-          basic nutrition

-          low impact physical activity

-          food safety

-          food budgeting

 

This position is a part of the Division of Extension Institute of Health and Well-Being and the FoodWIse Program. FoodWIse is a community-based nutrition program that seeks to empower individuals with limited incomes to make healthy choices to achieve healthy lives and reduce health disparities. FoodWIse is federally funded by the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program-Education (SNAP-Ed) and Expanded Food and Nutrition Program (EFNEP) grants.

Catholic Charities of Southern Minnesota is looking for a full-time Guardian/Conservator Program Director.  In this program, Catholic Charities serves as the court-appointed guardian/conservator to manage the personal and/or financial affairs of adults who can no longer do this for themselves.  The Director manages program staff, provides direct services to clients and families, as necessary, and monitors the program’s procedures, policies, and effectiveness.  The Director also markets the program, and builds and nurtures relationships with referral sources.
