SUMMARY:
The function of the Production Employee is to meet the established
corporate goals. Occasionally, he / she
will perform other duties and responsibilities assigned to him/her by the
Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager.
EDUCATION AND
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years production experience.
REQUIREMENTS and CONDITIONS:
- The sense of sight, colors, speech (English), and
hearing are required.
- The sense of sight, speech (English), reading, and
hearing are required. Must possess
excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as basic math
skills.
- Must be a conscientious, quality minded worker who
strives for superior performance.
- Must be able to remain focused on his/her work
to reduce errors.
- The physical requirements are standing or
walking within the plant areas, bending, turning the head and torso,
reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, and
fingers. Must be able to lift 50
pounds.
- Must be able to identify and distinguish
between good quality and poor quality product.
- Most of the time will be spent in a non-smoking plant
environment, with moderate noise and with a controlled temperature and
moderate levels of non-toxic fumes.
May work with low level abrasive fluids or chemicals, such as
lacquer thinner, etc. Additional
time may be spent throughout the plant in various departments doing fill
in relief work as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Other responsibilities may be assigned from time-to-time
at the discretion of management.

Contribute to the successful integration of all
activities within the facility

Work according to the department schedule

Supply management in department

Inventory management
·
Follow work order, rework, and ICAR processes
·
Follow 6S standards
·
Work within IQMS as needed
·
Follow safety instructions and guidelines
·
Complete scheduled training programs
·
Maintain a high level of competency with all
equipment on which the operator has been trained, preview new techniques for
continuous improvement with the quality and quantity of work produced
·
Meet established labor standards & work
according to a department schedule
·
Upkeep (general cleaning) and safe operations of
the area
·
Follow all government and company policies
relating to safety, health, and environment
·
Check the quality of all parts and maintain
quality standards. Remove any damaged parts from the line
·
Responsible to know, understand, and practice
all storage and material handling policies and procedures associated the area.
This will include Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Hazardous Material and
Waste Control.

Must be a conscientious worker who strives for

Must positively communicate with their
supervisor, fellow employees and support others as a team player.

Responsible for completing scheduled training
programs

Demonstrate good judgment in reporting and
resolving problems and complete corrective action form when required.

achieve company goals. Provide input and response to customer non-conformances. Implement effective corrective actions
and show continuous improvement.
Support of Customer to Customer quality. Identify ICAR’s in your work tasks to
ensure identification of added costs and time in making the product.
Employee must maintain a “Meets Standard” qualification on
employee reviews.
