Summerhays
Music, a NAMM Top 100 dealer and oldest full-line music store in Utah, is
looking to add a full-time woodwind and brass repair technician to the repair
family. Duties include: Working on customer instruments from both beginner to
professional level; providing estimates for both customer and school repairs
and following up on estimate approvals; keeping store-stock instruments in
good, working order and completing necessary warranty work; and maintaining an
up-to-date inventory of shop supplies. We are looking for a motivated
technician with a positive attitude and excellent time-management skills. Equal
experience/comfort repairing both woodwind and brass instruments is ideal, but
additional training will be provided for the right candidate. Full time
positions offer health insurance and 401k benefits. Paid vacation hours
accumulate after one year of full-time employment.
