Purpose Statement

 

To support the vision and goals of HHT by prototyping and testing products, processes, and new technologies that support the R&D, New Product Development, Quality, Manufacturing and Reliability departments. 

 

Essential Functions

 

·            Assist with electrical component prototyping including PCB board design, wiring harness development, and system testing / troubleshooting.

·            Ability to understand electronic design controls and or familiarity in design verification and compliance testing, including IPC, J-STDs, and IEC, standards.

·            Conduct circuit failure analysis, including destructive methods and part swapping

·            Work with vendors to outsource non-destructive test methods including X-ray/CT-scan, cleanliness (IC/Zestron). 

·            As needed, take on a technical leadership role including test protocol development, creation of engineering change orders (ECO’s) and leading continuous improvement projects surrounding fireplace control systems.

·            Use problem solving tools and basic statistical analysis to implement improvements during testing and development.

·            Develop and train other members on test protocols and data sheets.

·            Research technologies and write test reports that summarize results.

·            Must follow all safety rules and regulations.

·            Must follow all quality standards.

·            Other duties as assigned.

 

Skills and Abilities

·         Self-starter, able to complete projects with limited direction and communicate results.

·         Prioritize projects and meet required timelines as directed by Manager/SDR team Project Engineer.

·         Ability to work in a team environment to solve problems and meet timelines.

·         Interpret technical prints and specifications.

·         Basic computer skills: i.e. Microsoft Office applications, E-CAD software, etc.

Education & Experience

 

·         High school diploma or GED, and 5-10 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

·         2-year Associates Degree in Electronics Technology or similar program

·         3+ years of experience as an Electronics Technician, Electrical Engineering Technician, or Mechatronics Technician.

REQUIREMENTS and CONDITIONS:

  • The sense of sight, colors, speech (English), and hearing are required.
  • The sense of sight, speech (English), reading, and hearing are required.  Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as basic math skills.
  • Must be a conscientious, quality minded worker who strives for superior performance.

  • Most of the time will be spent in a non-smoking plant environment, with moderate noise and with a controlled temperature and moderate levels of non-toxic fumes.  May work with low level abrasive fluids or chemicals, such as lacquer thinner, etc.  Additional time may be spent throughout the plant in various departments doing fill in relief work as required.

compensation: $10-$20 / hour.

 

Are you looking to start or make a career by moving up within an organization? Manpower is in search of skilled CNC operators on all shifts! This is an excellent opportunity with wages between $10-$20 depending on experience, skill-set and education.

Qualified candidate will be operating CNC machines to develop molds out of wood, sheet metal, aluminum, plastic etc... candidate must have good computer experience.
Candidate will need to be able to use a micrometer and have good math skills.

Previous CNC experience is preferred but not necessary. Will train if someone has a good solid industrial work history.

Manpower in partnership with an established electronics company is looking for a Material and Production Planner.

Responsibilities:

  • Review customer purchase orders with Program Managers
  • Correspond with Customers regarding purchase orders and scheduling
  • Create and maintain jobs on the production floor using the MRP system
  • Review material status and communicate issues to Purchasing, Program Management and customers
  • Work obsolete and excess inventory issues with Program Manager
  • Assist with implementing customer changes
  • Maintain daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Participate in customer team meetings, customer visits, new product introduction meetings and prototype kickoff meetings.
