Vice President of Finance and Administration

The Vice President of Finance and Administration (VPFA) serves as the college’s chief finance officer and is an effective team player and member of the President’s Cabinet and the Executive Council, providing leadership in the areas of finance, budget, administration, operations, auxiliary services, safety and security, and facilities. As a visible and engaged member of the campus community, the VPFA collaborates with the president in developing financial strategy, budget, and financial practices aligned to the college’s vision, mission, and goals by providing leadership and strategic direction for all business operations, financial planning and management, business accounting, risk management and compliance, budgeting, facilities and materials management, safety and security, along with all administrative support functions on multiple campuses.

The position serves as the principal financial advisor and will ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness of all financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. The VPFA reliably predicts the college’s future financial challenges and opportunities and prepares the institution to meet those challenges and maximize opportunities. This position assesses organizational performance against both the annual budget and the college’s long-term strategy.  This position ensures the stable management of the current fiscal year budget and enables the development of the next two budget years.  Strong understanding of the Minnesota legislative process is key to long-term budget success. Main office location on either our Red Wing or Winona campus; however, regular travel between campuses is required. Relocation assistance is available!

Dean of Nursing and Allied Health

The Dean of Nursing and Allied Health provides college-wide and consortium leadership for key strategic initiatives, including college planning, enrollment management, and facilities. This role provides administrative leadership and oversight for the Professional and Practical Nursing Programs at Minnesota State College Southeast, while supporting other Health Sciences programs. Responsibilities include the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of academic programs, as well as the effective management of personnel, budgets, and other resources to ensure the achievement of program goals and student success outcomes.

Network Administrator and Cybersecurity Analyst, ITS3

This position provides reliable, secure, productive, and convenient networked data sharing, printing, and communication services to faculty, staff, administrators, and students through the design, planning, installation, security, and maintenance of the College’s network systems and associated software. The position serves as a primary technical lead for network security and compliance, including implementation and operational support of security controls aligned with NIST 800‑171, Minnesota State system security policies, and applicable legal and regulatory standards. The incumbent also assesses, maintains, and periodically upgrades cybersecurity controls and network infrastructure to ensure secure, compliant, and resilient operations. Main office location on either our Red Wing or Winona campus; however, regular travel between campuses is required.

Academic Success Coach (Red Wing)

The Success Coach provides holistic, student-centered advising and academic support to pre-health care students while supporting core Academic Support Center (ASC) operations at the Red Wing campus. The role delivers individualized advising, coaching, and retention-focused case management to promote academic progression and timely completion, using data-informed practices and advising technologies to guide course planning and address barriers to success. In addition, the position administers daily testing operations, including accommodated and standardized exams, by coordinating scheduling, proctoring, technology, and communications to ensure secure, compliant, and accessible testing services. The role also supports ASC front desk operations and collaborates across departments to deliver integrated student services, assist during peak periods, contribute to campus engagement, and maintain consistent communication and documentation aligned with institutional policies and practices.

Plant Maintenance Engineer

The purpose of this position is to provide a safe working boiler plant, facilities, air handlers and chillers at Minnesota State College Southeast. This position will give aid to General Repair Workers (GRWs), General Maintenance Workers (GMWs) in regards to Minnesota State College Southeast Plant Operations to ensure that the operation and maintenance of the buildings, utilities, streets and grounds are maintained in a safe and efficient manner. This position ensures that problems, failures, and breakdowns of Minnesota State College Southeast buildings are held to a minimum or prevented.

 General Maintenance Worker

This position, under general supervision, performs a variety of indoor and outdoor maintenance activities of Minnesota State College Southeast and is responsible for all cleaning and general maintenance services throughout the campus. The position shall provide a safe, clean environment for faculty, staff and students performing heavy custodial and grounds work, including the operation of heavy equipment to provide lawn care and snow removal as well as proper maintenance and repair of the building and grounds and related work, as required. This position is considered an essential employee and will assist in safety, security, maintenance, and operations of Minnesota State College Southeast's Winona Campus. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required for this position. The workweek for this position is Monday-Thursday (1:00 pm – 9:30 pm) Friday (8:30am-5pm).

Director of Business Services, Accounting Supervisor Principle

This position exists to support student learning and success by providing management and supervision of the Southeast’s business office and bookstore staff. Responsibilities include but not limited to: accounting activities that ensure accurate, timely and appropriate financial data to ensure the college in using generally accepted accounting principles; Workday accounting tasks and processes, banking services/cash flow management; management of ISRS security administration; account receivable, accounts payable and procurement management. This position supports fiscal responsibility by developing policies and procedures for all accounting functions to ensure adequate internal controls and compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations.

Campus Security Report

Minnesota State College Southeast recognizes providing the safest environment possible is an integral element of the college's educational mission and annually publishes a Campus Security Report that is available to everyone. This report provides statements of policy for a broad range of safety and security programs including crime prevention programs, reporting crimes, personal safety, community relations, environmental safety, enforcement authority, evacuation procedures, and enforcement authority and response, and a 3-year statistical review of designated crimes on campus.
