Minnesota State College Southeast holding public Open Forums for position of College Institutional Effectiveness Officer finalists on May 12 and May 19

Red Wing and Winona, MN (May 9, 2025) -- The Minnesota State College Southeast community and the general public are invited to participate in public Open Forums for finalists for the position of College Institutional Effectiveness Officer on May 12 and May 19. The Open Forums will be held on campus and via Zoom. 

For campus/room locations and Zoom links, please email Alecia Spagnoletti at alecia.spagnoletti@southeastmn.edu. Following the Open Forums, participants will have the opportunity to submit feedback via an online form.

Ashlesha Pawar

Ashlesha Pawar brings over a decade of leadership experience in institutional research, assessment, and strategic planning within higher education. She holds a Master of Science in Computer and Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and an MBA from the University of Pune. Ashlesha has served in senior roles at institutions including Purdue University Northwest and the University of West Georgia, where she led institutional effectiveness efforts, accreditation compliance, and data-informed decision-making initiatives. With a strong background in data governance, program review, and student success analytics, she is passionate about building a culture of continuous improvement and supporting evidence-based planning that enhances institutional outcomes.

Laura Wind-Norton

Laura Wind-Norton has an extensive career in higher education including progressive leadership roles at Nicolet College in Rhinelander, WI, where she currently serves as Associate Vice President of Academic Services and Accreditation Liaison Officer. Previously, as Dean of the University Transfer Liberal Arts Program at Nicolet, she developed new online pathways and certificates. Laura's accomplishments reflect a sustained commitment to educational excellence, equity, and innovation. Her contributions extend to community and state levels, including collaborative work focused on equitable outcomes for Indigenous learners. She was an economics faculty member at Nicolet for 13 years and holds a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from Iowa State University, where she received the Award for Excellence in Teaching, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Truman State University.
