Financial Aid Consortium Agreements

A student who is getting their degree/certificate and financial aid from Minnesota State College Southeast and wishes to take courses at another Minnesota State College or University can have those credits included as part of their credits at Southeast.

Each semester, The Registrar’s Office will review a list of students enrolled at other Minnesota State institutions for consortium eligibility, and will reach out directly to students if anything else is needed to complete the consortium process.

Credits taken at the other college need to pertain to the student's current major at Southeast. 

A student must meet with their academic advisor before registering for a course at another Minnesota State institution, to verify that the course taken does pertain to their current major at Southeast. The student also needs to be enrolled in courses at Southeast during the consortium semester.

Southeast will only accept consortium agreements from other Minnesota State Colleges and Universities.
