Graduation Requirements
The Associate of Arts Degree (AA), Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS), Associate of Science Degree (AS), Diploma, or Certificate will be conferred upon all students who have:
- Completed all program major course requirements
- Maintained a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0
- Met all financial obligations to the college
- Completed a Graduation Application (available on the Graduation Information page) by the published deadline for each term.
A student must earn a minimum of one-third of the total credits from Minnesota State College Southeast to be eligible for a certificate or diploma, and for an Associate degree a student must earn a minimum of fifteen (15) credits. Minnesota State College Southeast has only one commencement ceremony in the Spring of each year.
Department Requirements
Some programs may have additional regulations due to licensing, program accreditation, or industry standards unique to their area. In some cases, these program/department regulations may supersede college regulations. For more information, contact the department chair.
