Job Description: Nurse/nursing student or allied health student/professional- Pulmonary care personal assistant needed Looking for a mature, caring and reliable health care provider, dedicated to providing compassionate care to resident with complex medical needs. Caregiver will work one on one, caring for resident in his home.

Responsibilities include: Assist in ensuring patients comfort while maintaining dignity & independence Assist w/bathing, dressing, grooming & toileting Cooking & assisting with nutritional needs Medication reminders Monitor resident & report changes Support resident’s complex pulmonary needs including nebulizer set up, adjust supplemental oxygen, refill humidification reservoir, manage oxygen tubing with mobility, switch between oxygen mask & nasal cannula, breath pacing & relaxation, provide comfort when oxygen drops or breathing becomes rapid Monitor medication & oxygen supplies & reorder as needed Maintain schedule & assist with return calls Assist with walking & exercises Utilize proper infection prevention & safety practices while caring for patient & cleaning oxygen & nebulizer masks Maintain clean, safe & comfortable environment Light cleaning, laundry & dishes Must have: Compassionate, dependable, approach to patient centered care Experience with pulmonary patients 1 year of experience providing personal care Proof of certification; Will fingerprint & run a background check

Qualifications: CPR & CNA, LPN, RN or other medical certification
