Utility Failure Procedure

Utility failures include; electrical power outages, disrupted cable service, interrupted telephone service, water or heat not available. In the event of a major utility failure, follow these guidelines.

During regular business hours:

• Notify Maintenance at 6360 or 651-764-1202 immediately, (if telephone service is not available, go to the Maintenance office, located at Minnesota State College (Room 312)

• Evacuate the building if an emergency exists.

• Call 911 immediately if there is potential danger to the building(s) and/or its occupants.

After regular business hours and/or weekends:

• After hours (phone 651-327-9378 or 651-764-1202) If telephone service is not available.

• Evacuate the building if an emergency exists.

• Call 911 immediately if there is potential danger to the building(s) and/or its occupants.
